Protein Apple Crisp
Because apple crisp is a must in the fall, but this one has a twist! Extra protein and much healthier than your average dessert.

Apples
- 6 large apples
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
Crisp
- 2 cups gluten free rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chickpea flour
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 3/4 cup plant based protein powder
- 6 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp unrefined virgin coconut oil
- 1/2 cup creamy natural almond butter
Preheat the oven to 350℉.
Grease a 9x9” square pan with extra virgin olive oil.
Peel, core, and slice the apples. Add them to a small mixing bowl.
Add the cinnamon and maple syrup to the apples. Mix well.
Pour the apple mixture into the pan and ensure an even spread.
Make the crisp by combining all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and combining with your hands.
Crumble the crisp over the apples.
Place in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until crisp has browned.
Serve warm.
