Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Balls

Cookie dough that’s packed with protein and makes the perfect healthier snack or dessert?! Sign me up! These are super easy to make and come out at around 8 grams of protein each.

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 scoops plant based protein powder (36 grams ~ 1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup super fine almond flour
  • 2/3 cup dairy and gluten free dark chocolate chips
  • flaky sea salt to top

Instructions
 

  • Combine the peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla, protein powder, and almond flour in a small mixing bowl.
  • Mix well until a dough consistency is reached.
  • Add 1/3 cup of the chocolate chips and fold in.
  • Roll the dough into 12 balls, placing them on a plate. Freeze while melting the remaining chocolate chips.
  • Put the remaining 1/3 cup chocolate chips in a bowl and melt in the microwave for 30 seconds intervals, stirring after each interval.
  • Take the balls out of the freezer and drizzle each with the melted chocolate. Top each ball with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  • Freeze for 30 minutes and enjoy!
