Maple Tamari Brussel Sprouts

These brussel sprouts are the perfect side dish to any main. Make them for yourself at home or bring them to your next get-together. These would be delicious as a plant-based and gluten free Thanksgiving side dish!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb brussel sprouts
  • 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp gluten free low sodium tamari
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp white miso paste (be sure to buy gluten free!)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425℉ and grease a baking sheet with olive oil or line with a silicone baking mat.
  • Mix together tamari, maple syrup, miso, and olive oil in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Chop the stems off the brussel sprouts and add them to the mixing bowl with the sauce. Depending on how large your sprouts are, you may want to halve them as well.
  • Stir sauce and brussel sprouts together.
  • Pour brussel sprouts onto baking sheet.
  • Cook in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until crispy. Pause halfway through to sauté.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
