As we head into January, I thought this would be the perfect time to share some of my favorite non-alcoholic products. If you’re doing dry January, or simply interested in drinking less this year, these are some of my favorite go-tos for when I want something more, but without the alcohol.
1. Wölffer Estate – Spring in a Bottle
Spring in a Bottle is Wölffer Estate’s non-alcoholic rosé. It works well on its own when you simply pour it in a wine glass and enjoy or as a non-alcoholic wine spritzer by combining it with some seltzer. The wine itself is slightly sparkling and definitely a great treat when you’re tired of drinking a glass of water or cup of tea on a Friday night.
2. Töst
If you’ve followed my Instagram at all, you’ve probably seen Töst in quite a few of my stories. As opposed to being a dealcoholized wine, Töst is actually a sparkling tea that is similar to a sparkling wine. They come in large or individual bottles and even some cans. There is the classic white Töst or rosé. It’s great to bring to a party or get-together if you’re concerned about there being nothing non-alcoholic.
3. Recess Craft Mocktails
These were the first canned mocktails I tried and they did not disappoint! Recess comes in six mocktail flavors – grapefruit paloma, lime margarita, ginger mule, watermelon mojito, island spritz, and classic cosmo. The ginger mule is my personal favorite because I love the zip of ginger. These are great to bring to a party or even the beach or pool as they are canned and won’t cause any problems with glass. Just crack one open and enjoy!
4. Wood Stove Kitchen – Natural Cocktail and Mocktail Mixers
Wood Stove Kitchen sells concentrated natural cocktail and mocktail mixers. They come jarred and in many different flavors with the ability to get much more than one mocktail out of each bottle. For each one, you can add alcohol if you’d prefer to make a cocktail or add a splash of lemon or lime juice and some sparkling water or soda water. Many of them even go well with ginger beer or ginger ale.
5. Mingle Mocktails
I bought a variety pack of Mingle Mocktails before I went to the beach this past summer and enjoyed every single one! Just like Recess, these are canned mocktails and are great for the beach or by the pool. They come in many different flavors including cranberry cosmo, blood orange elderflower mimosa, and cucumber melon mojito.
