Massachusetts

1. Wusong Road, Cambridge MA – This is one of my favorite restaurants in Massachusetts so far! They have many plant based options and they have a dedicated gluten free fryer so you can have tater tots like the ones above. So yummy!
2. Life Alive Organic Café, Many Locations – There are quite a few locations of this café in and around the Boston area. All of their food is plant-based and there are many meals you can make gluten free as well.
3. Island Creek Oysters, Duxbury MA – I know what you’re thinking – this place has oysters right in the name! I know, I know, but they have a beautiful spot right on the water and they offer some plant based and gluten free options too. I got their poké bowl with tofu and their smashed cucumber salad.
4. Friendly Toast, Many Locations – They have locations in Massachusetts and in New Hampshire. They have a bunch of gluten free and plant based options. They can make all of their scrambles with tofu too.
5. Earl’s, Boston, MA (Many Locations) – Earl’s has many plant based and gluten free options. I had their gluten free pizza with their vegan cheese and had to double check with the waiter that they used vegan cheese because it was THAT good.
6. The Elephant Walk, Boston, MA – This restaurant serves Cambodian and French food with a few plant based and gluten free options! Their curries are super yummy.
7. Naco Taco, Cambridge MA – I’ve always found that mexican cuisine is fairly easy to make gluten free and plant based. Naco taco doesn’t disappoint with this!
8. 110 Grill, Many Locations – 110 Grill is a chain restaurant that has many locations – including in New Hampshire is well. Their ENTIRE menu can be made gluten free and many of their menu options can also be made vegan including their fried items. Just inform your server of your preferences and they will get it done! This restaurant is great when it comes to allergies.
9. Otto Pizza, Many Locations – Otto is based out of Portland, ME but they have a location in Cambridge, MA and in Exeter, NH. They offer gluten free dough and plant based cheese.
10. The Maharaja, Cambridge MA – If you like Indian food, you will LOVE this restaurant. Their food is so delicious and they have MANY gluten free and plant based options.
11. Alden & Harlow, Cambridge MA – A family style restaurant with some plant based options which come as is or can be modified to be made plant based. Many of their menu items can be made gluten free but you need to ask!
12. Fleur Cuisine Harborside, Rockport MA – They have quite a few plant based options and many of their dishes can be made gluten free. Their fried plantains are definitely worth getting!
13. Shubie’s Marketplace, Marblehead MA – This is a recent discovery that is a must visit place! They sell some of my favorite non-dairy cheese – Rebel Cheese – and they have many gluten free and dairy free dessert options. They also have a large prepared food bar with cards denoting many of the gluten free and plant based options like black bean burgers and patatas bravas. In addition to this, they offer made-to-order sandwiches. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a place to check out!
14. Flying Saucer Pizza Company, Salem MA – They have a gluten free menu AND a vegan menu! Not to mention, so many unique pizzas! Definitely a place to go if you’re in the Salem area.
15. Lulu’s Bakery & Pantry, Salem MA – Lulu’s is a cute café with great coffee and food options! They sell quite a few vegan and gluten free pastries, including cupcakes! They also have a delicious vegan and gluten free focaccia bread.
16. Gulu-Gulu Cafe, Salem MA – Gulu-Gulu is a great cafe where you can get a bite to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and have a coffee, cocktail, or even a mocktail. They have a great deal of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. They even have a mac and cheese that can be made vegan and gluten free!
17. Dire Wolf Tavern, Salem MA – This tavern has many gluten free options including french fries! I got their street fries and a roasted vegetable salad – both were delicious. If you’re full vegan, you can omit many of the sauces with the fries to keep it to vegan eats.

New Hampshire

1. Green Elephant, Portsmouth NH – This is one of my favorite places to eat in Portsmouth! Their food is delicious and they have fantastic mocktails and cocktails. They are a completely vegetarian restaurants and many of their dishes can be made gluten free.
2. Barrio, Portsmouth NH (also in Salem, MA) – Barrio is a great restaurant in which you can choose from a list of tacos or make your own! Their menu denotes all of the dairy free, vegan, and gluten free options to build your own taco.
3. Street Food 360, Portsmouth & Exeter NH – Their bibimbap and yuca fries are PHENOMENAL! We love a place where we can get truly gluten free fries!
4. The Kitchen, Portsmouth NH – Many of their dishes have gluten free substitutions and there are quite a few plant based options. Their cocktails and mocktails are also fantastic.
5. Oba, Exeter NH – This noodle bar has many gluten free and plant based options. My absolute favorite is their green curry!
6. Laney & Lu, Exeter & Portsmouth NH – There are SO many plant based and gluten free options at this inspired eatery. Their Portsmouth location even has vegan and gluten free baked goods.
7. Sea Dog Brewing, Exeter & North Conway, NH – They have a few plant based options which you can make gluten free with modifications!
8. Martingale Wharf, Portsmouth NH – They have a few plant based options but most of their menu can be made gluten free upon request.
9. The Green Room, Portsmouth NH – A breakfast and lunch café which has açaí bowls, egg sandwiches (with plant based and GF options!), sandwiches, toasts, and salads.
10. Littleton Freehouse, Littleton NH – They have a few plant-based options and many of their dishes are or can be made gluten free!

Rhode Island

1. Plant City, Providence RI – If you’re ever in Providence, this restaurant is a MUST. Everything is completely plant based and many of their meals are gluten free as well. They also have four restaurants in one – an italian restaurant, a mexican restaurant, an american bistro, and a speakeasy!
2. Wildflour, Pawtucket RI – Wildflour is a completely vegan bakery and many of their treats are gluten free too. They also offer coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, and salads.

Maine

1. Wanderlust Juicery, Freeport ME – This tiny hidden gem is tucked away with so many vegan and gluten free options! They have breakfast sandwiches with vegan eggs and gluten free english muffins and plenty of smoothies and smoothie bowl options.
2. Flatbread Co., Portland ME – A great pizza place with gluten free crusts and a vegan pizza option. If you go, definitely try their hot lemonade! They also have a location in Portsmouth, NH.
3. Bissell Brothers, Portland ME – This brewery has quite a few yummy options! They have a vegan burger with a gluten free bun option and a vegan burrito. They also sell canned mocktails from RSRV Kenshō which are really tasty!
