Air Fryer Pickles

If you’re a fan of pickles, you’ll love this appetizer! It’s crispy and crunchy with a spicy sauce to top it off. This is the perfect easy appetizer to impress your friends and family with.

Ingredients
  

Fried Pickles

  • 2/3 cup chickpea flour
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cups gluten free/dairy free breadcrumbs
  • 5 - 6 whole kosher dill pickles (make sure they’re gluten free!)

Spicy Sauce

  • 1/3 cup vegan mayo
  • 3 tbsp sriracha
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions
 

  • Combine the chickpea flour and water in a small mixing bowl and whisk together.
  • Chop the pickles into round slices 1/4” thick.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 390℉.
  • Prepare your breadcrumbs by putting them in a large bowl.
  • Dip each pickle slice in the chickpea flour/water mixture. Then, coat it in breadcrumbs. Place the battered pickles in the air fryer and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
  • Repeat the previous step in as many batches as you need depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix together.
  • Serve the pickles with the sauce on the side.
